In their first kid pitch action, the Heaters went over and finished 2nd in their first tournament of the season and completed a very solid weekend of play. The Heaters completed pool play and entered the tournament as the #2 overall seed.

Tournament Outcome: 1st Place, Silver Bracket. 8 teams total. 2-1 Record. 16 Runs Allowed. 25 Runs Scored. The semi-finals was shortened due to rain after 3 innings. The rain also forced the remainder of the tournament to be canceled. Since the Heaters were the 1 seed, they were declared Silver Bracket Champions for the 2nd straight year of the Jim Herbert Memorial Tournament.

Tournament Outcome: No Decision. 10 teams total. 2-0 Record. 2 Runs Allowed. 20 Runs Scored. Rain set in one game after the Heaters completed their pool play. With rain and snow hitting overnight, the remainder of the tournament was canceled. Since everyone did not get at least 2 pool play games in, no one was declared champion. The Heaters, having allowed just 2 runs in the tournament, stood a very good chance at being Champs had the tournament been completed.
