We have plenty of games upcoming in the next few weeks... This Wednesday, we will host the Eastern Kentucky Outlaws to Veldon Dotson Park to play a Double Header beginning at 6:00. The Outlaws will be coming from Hazard, Kentucky to play the Heaters. The Outlaws were the Champions from this weekend's Indian Early Bird Tournament at Domtar Park.
On Saturday, Wise Minor League will kick off its season beginning with a parade through the streets of Wise and plenty of Little League, Minor League, and T-Ball action. Many of the Heaters players will be competing against one another in their first kid pitch action of the season. But after the Little League action is complete, the Heaters Baseball Club players will join together for 2 games against Lee County, Virginia's Minor League players. Heaters action is scheduled to begin around 4:30 PM on Saturday, April 14.
Then next Saturday, the Heaters Baseball Club will travel back to Domtar Park in Kingsport, TN to play in the Battle of Holston River Tournament. Unlike most tournaments that wait until the last minute to fill up, the Battle of Holston River Tournament already has 7 teams registered to play, including the Heaters Baseball Club.
It should be an exciting couple of weeks for the Heaters who have plenty of games to play in the next 2 weeks. All of this leading up to us hosting our first tournament on April 28, the Bringin' the Heat tournament!
