The Heaters 8U and 9U clubs each added a pre-tournament, head to head game to their schedule which is set to take place on March 2. The 8U club will play the East Tennessee Select while the 9U team will take on the Kingsport Indians. The 8U Select team may sound familiar as the Heaters and Select faced off against one another in a contest during the Fall portion of our season back in September.
Both games will be played at the Eastman Fields in Kingsport, Tennessee. Games will be played simultaneously on adjacent fields starting at roughly 11:00 AM. These games will be used as a way to evaluate where the teams stand and what work needs to be done before competing in the first tournament of the season a few weeks later at Domtar Park.
